Probably 3D. The technology exists, it just has to be polished off & mass produced! That'll take what-- 30-40 years at most?

They've been developing quad HD, wich as you can guess, has 4x the resolution.

Only going to be used for medical surgery until we get some type of storgae media which can hold the vast amount of video data. Probably going to be holographic storgage, 300gig on one disc

well the way things go is they continue with the same stuff till they can't go any further then they come up with something new, so I think the next step is going to be something holographic, probably not holodeck style but at least full 3d surround video so that you can walk around the picture and see all sides of it

Simple, there will be no more TV's as we know them, because there will be no more Pay TV service as we know it, instead we will have IPTV and the quality of content will be tied to the capabilities of home computers, monitors, and internet connection speeds.
