i can finaly get broadband but i would use it for gameing and with the xbox 360 im geting soon but im worndering does it have to be static or genitric?

You only really need a static IP if you're running your own web server. For Xbox Live, I think it goes by a separate account. Don't worry about it.

do you ever proofread? you have some pretty serious spelling errors 90% of the time.

like what is "genitric"? i think you mean "dynamic"

not trying to personally attack you here or anything but its getting kind of annoying.

anyways, 1Mb/s is probably enough for xbox live. but dont try to download stuff at the same time or anything.

He's referring to his DSL/cable connection, not how fast his Ethernet equipment is.

wireless b is 11, but as far as I know DSL usually stops when it gets to 10 (10base T). 11 is a pretty odd number cause it requires upgrading everything to 100base T

Once again. Proofread. After you're done, and before you submit, check for spelling errors. Like an extra e in sleept. Or a new 'tread'. Those 2 letters will make a world of difference. If you don't have the latest Firefox, do get it. It makes a big red underline on wrong words!
