Blinking Green Screen

I relocated the cartridge slot on my NES and now the screen blinks green when i turn it on. I checked the continuity of all pins on the cartridge slot and everything is fine. I also tried putting the cartridge in both ways. What could be causing this?

google the 2 terms "Disable" & "10nes".

That fixed the blinking part. It's still green though.

Have you tried cleaning your cart's pins?

Double check your wiring. If that's not the problem, your PPU might be bad.

Wiring looks fine. Is there a way to tell if the PPU is busted or should i just assume it is and go buy another NES?

You put the cartridge in both ways? That doesn't sound good. (i'm not sure how much it would harm it) have you tried other carts?

It still works fine, i tried it in my other NES. But yeah i did try a few other ones but got the same result.

mmmmm. Recheck your actual solder connections. I mean the lockout pins weren't solderd on good enough. Cause it kept blinking till you disabled the chip. Also clean the slot and cartridge with alcohol.

Screw it. I'm pretty sure something is broken. I'll look around for a cheap NES and try that cart slot on mine to make sure it's broken before i toss it.

Edit: Just got one for $16.79 shipped from ebay, hopefully i won't break this one.
