a long time ago (2003 i think) i read a article that was linked from milkandcookies.com about someone who had made a portable N64 (it was huge, but still quite impressive to a 13 year old). Having no knowledge of electronics i assumed it was far out of my reach so i forget about it. Then in 2005 i had learnt a lot from my electronics class and remebered this, but got thinking about what consoles would be smaller so i thought SNES, googled portable SNES and found bens hacaday article and surprise surprise ended up here

I found bens N64p and PS2p on hackaday then followed the link. Sadly, it took a long time before i started on the forums.
Why is it that every time I post in a thread, it dies?

I was googling about the atari 2600. Looking for emulators, roms, information sites, whatever. I stumbled upon Ben's old classicgaming.com site. I checked it out and even joined the forum there. When Ben opened the new forum I joined after it seemed to be taking off, making me the 20th member.

I found that popular science magazine with the article in it, I copied the website at the bottom of the page and BINGO I discovered this site and was a very happy 14 year old.

I found out in a Magazine, don't remember which one though, it had an article about the original portable nintendo. It had links to portables of doom too.

I didn't even use the forums for about a year after that though because I thought I'd get ripped off or hacked, lol.

good ol' EGM article....

I saw it, and then after some time came back to it because I wanted to build a portable N64, and I figured this site might help me a bit. Which it did ;).

("This site" referring to the old forums)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I believe I found it through his old site, a sub-page on another website. I can't remember the last time I went there, but I think it's still up...
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

I remember reading an article in EGM a long time ago and never thinking more of it, only now I realize that that was the one and only Ben.
