How did you find out Benheck?

I saw RPGTKNick's portable N64 on hackaday (back when I was looking for a powerful replacement for my broken GBC) and it gave me the idea so I googled it and found this site.

I'm not 100% sure, I'd known about Ben's site for a longg time before I joined, I distinctly remember reading his posts on classicgaming.com (I don't know if benheck.com was up yet, but I never knew about the forums). His portables would wander in and out of my interest. That was in 7th, maybe 8th grade, I didn't have my own computer and my internet time was limited. Then when I got into highschool I got my own laptop + wifi, and eventually discovered the forums, joined the site, started a portable, and the rest is history.

When I started to use StumbleUpon, I had technology as one of my categories. 10 minutes later "Damn, this guy makes such cool stuff".

I got interested in the PSP but didn't have enough money to buy one.

Someone on the GP2x forum mentioned to me it was worth visiting (when I was doing some basic GP2x modding). I was impressed with Ben's work!

Was talking to my older brother's friend and he started talking about this guy who makes his own portable consoles but he didn't remember his name or site or anything. So I googled for about 5 minutes found his site, preordered the book and joined a month or two later
