That's not really hacking. It's more logical thinking.

Hacking is problem solving, wether if your on the good side or not.

People still misuse the word "Hacking". As, "Hacking" is usually white hatting (Or, hacking something to fix it, or to notify the owner of the security flaw, ect ect). And "Cracking" is causing damage (Such as, someone hacking into your computer and giving your a malicious file.)

Most crackers are just script kiddies. (A scriptkiddie is someone who uses a pre-made program to hack.)

Most Hackers are true hackers. (People who actually write the code for the program, in which the scriptkiddie will probably use. None the less, these guys are the ones with skills, as they write the program.)

If you guys really want to get a in depth perception of hacking, pick up the book called: Hacking: The Art of Exploitation.

$24.99 USD is a good price for a 200 page book, that is instructions on how to make your own hacking program, and many strips of code, not to mention the book is worth $50 USD. (This book requires knowledge of C, and C++. Its not just a copy and paste type thing.)

I have the book, and I'm overwhelmed by the knowledge.

If you need a quick place to execute some Javascript, use this:

Type the code in the left box and the stuff appears in the right box.

Hint: If you get stuck at level 3, decode the ascii numbers (either with the TryIt editor or manually with a table) and put the resulting word in the address bar for the level name. (http://www.hackerskills.com/PASSWORDHEREDUH.htm)

Can you please help me with lvl 8? I got the watermarks demo thing opened in photoshop, but I dont know what to do with it.

Yay thanks bic. Lvl 7 now. Kinda stuck though but I' ll find a way!!!!!!!!!! (even if it kills all of you)

edit: whoops said lvl 6 instead of 7.

edit2: grrrrrr stil stuck at lvl 7. Thought I had it. Turns out it told me I was looking in the wrong place!

sorry for double posting but this just didn' t fit as an edit. I can give you a hint ( I believe this was lvl 6) it' s a javascript file!

edit: I need a hint for 7.
