Sega 3 compatibility?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Sega 3 compatibility?

Post by Thegamer3000 »

Does anyone know where I can find a list of uncompatible games for the Sega 3?

Is Sonic the hedgehog 3 compatible?

Wikipedia wrote:Announced in 1997 as a "budget" version, the Genesis 3 was manufactured by Majesco. In order to cut costs, the expansion port and circuitry were omitted, which made the Genesis 3 incompatible with the Sega CD, Sega 32X, Power Base Converter and Virtua Racing. It was released in 1998 as the "Genesis 3" in North America only. It originally retailed for $50 and was later lowered as far down as $19.99.
So it can run everything except Virtua Racing. :) Nice deal, eh?

I forget how, but it's possible to get it to run Virtua Racing.

How did he get it to do that

Just for reference Sonic 3D Blast works (I thought that one wouldn't)

Also I asked the guy at the game store and he said he never heard of the compatibility issue :? (But I do believe it does exist)

So are you guys saying the only game that doesn't work is virtua racing?
