Web proxy - now looking for a 'free' php web host

How much bandwith do you have?

As soon as we find a web proxy at out school, it usually has an extra 2-300 people using it a day.

:D

Or if i don't tell everyone, it only has like 5 people per day.

Whats the addy harshy?

Completly seperate question, how can you access a shared computers folder, without going though my computer / network places on windows?

I need somwere to host *COUGHwaresCOUGH* on our school system.

I made a handy shutdown script on one of the lab computers, in the startup folders, shutdown!

They havn't fixed it yet though.

I downloaded game maker 6 at my school... But when I tried to run the install, an access error came up (probably coz of the blocked off c-drive)

Our school is tight as, but you can count on them to make some mishaps, eg. Our admin person left a computer looged on as him while it defragged. I went into command prompt, gpedit.msc, fell admin to my account.

Ahhhh, bliss.

Doesn't hep with the web blocking though.

Trust me, if anyone can use up your bandwith, i got kicked from the school systyem for a week for using to much downloads.

In a week along i had downloaded > 20gb. Costing the school a fortune.

Its not even slightly working, i don;t think you can put that sort of this on 110mb?

Also 110mb is blocked at our school.

Your free host probably has PHP safe_mode enabled, which keeps the proxy from working. You could try another like 100webspace...

A quick Google search for "PHProxy" (with the quotes) should bring up a whole bunch of potential proxies. :P

Our school is almost smart though, all the dead out simple to find ones are blocked. Most 'free' hosting services are blocked a well.

Were can i get one hosted at?

Can i get some 'free' hosting for somone? I am willing to do things, programming in the like for it, I can gaurantee a lot of traffic on weekdays, if you want the adds (if any) to be viewed.

i have the same problem in my skool even though the admin pasword is amin
. :lol: i also have acess to all the computer and everyones passwords because i fix the computers in my skool.

If this work out i might use it as well.

All the proxy sites are blocked in our school, we cant use the desktop, the c-drive is blocked and all the game sites are blocked (duh) even benheck.

Benheck is blocked at my school, but that doesn't keep ME from getting on 8)

Go to Start > Run > Type "command" > Press "Enter" > Type "ping www.benheck.com" > get the IP it gives you and type it in the browser > Have fun!
