I know this is short notice, but I have one more spot left in my car to go to Midwest Gaming Classic. I'll be leaving from school in western Wisconsin (a very reasonable drive from the Twin Cities for you fellow Minnesotans) on Friday morning, June 8th. I expect returning around 1:00 Sunday night (or Monday morning). If you pay for gas, I can probably work out a pick-up from the Twin Cities as well. One other pickup I'd be willing to do is for those near Interstate 94, I'll be traveling pretty much the entire highway within Wisconsin.
Not from the cities? You can also try checking megabus.com. They serve several large cities in the midwest, going through Chicago (the one exception to the stop in Chicago is if you are in Minneapolis or, of course, already in Chicago) I have tickets to get from Chicago to Milwaukee and back, so you only have to pay the bus fare to Chicago. Also, if you're coming from Cleveland, I have round trip tickets for that, too. If you take the bus, make sure you choose an option that will get you to Chicago by 9:30, as that is when the bus to Milwaukee leaves.
After you get to Milwaukee, you would join me, gannon, and G-force for pretty much the entire trip. We're planning on going to Ben's right away, then checking into a hotel I reserved.
Here are the costs for the trip:
Bus fare: Depends on where you are coming from
Hotel: $45 (evenly split amount among 4 people)
Gas: $20 (I'll be driving the entire trip, and Wisconsin has fairly high gas prices for the area, so I'd like some help with that.)
Event: $20 ($10/day x 2 days)
Spending money: As much or as little as you want
Food: See "Spending money"
