twisted warthog, dont count on becoming a mod anytime soon. Im guessing if they add another mod the person wont be any newer than from maybe 2005. I didnt realise vskid wasnt a mod and yeah i would elect ctfan or daguuy

Well, this thread has made me come to a sad realization. The old days of this forum are over. Us few that remain from the good ol' days must step up and fill the shoes of those great members that have since gone. Either that, or this forum will die. It seems that the original members were the ones that were passionate about modding, then came the n00bs. Every time that Ben released a new project, more of them came. The old members who were passionate left because the forum was going down hill. Heck I don't even visit much anymore. We have to get this forum back into shape. The old Mods are likely not coming back, someone has to fill their shoes or this place will get out of control.

Remember the bondo open? I got sidetracked and busy and completely forgot to make another contest. Perhaps if we find one that people agree on, we could have a monthly contest (more during the summer) where the prize is a deserving title for the winner. (Title is dependent on their standing in the forums, not what they won).
As for the members. The "n00bs" as you refer to them are simply new and getting into this kind of stuff. It doesn't mean they aren't passionate, it just means they know less and need the help of the more experienced members. Hell, when I came I was spamzilla. New thread every day. My point? The new members just need time to learn, and if they don't like this stuff, they will leave. The old members have a role in the community to help those noobs. If you don't, THAT is what will make this community go downhill. Otherwise, what you know won't stay here on the forums, it will leave with you.
For example, yesterday I found out that Krylon Fusion paint for plastics is WAAAAAY better than rustoleum brand. WAY better. Now you know. The secret will not die with me anymore!

You're from Ontario! You've been marked as a potential seller to me with quick shipping!
I don't not like you. You haven't done anything special, though. You're a normal member.
We all want to be mods, that's for sure. We want to feel special, and stand out from the rest of the members. Which I why, again, I push the titles idea.
