That wagon was custom ordered from ford by the first owner. It had a C6 trans which is the baddest pulling trans that ford still has. And had a 460 V8 under the hood. Some guy was saying that wagon couldn't pull nonthing. My dad said put your front bumper to my front bumper. Put you truck in four wheel drive. and just tell me when you want me to go. And I will push you. So yea them old cars are very powerful.
Thats kinda freaky, thats the same engine as our 1994 F-350 has (lock it in 4x4 low and your car wouldn't stand a chance, it would crawl right over it). It kinda sucks now, I don't think 225,000 miles have helped it much. Going up hills with 2 ATV's in the back and pulling a camper, lots of people pass us like we're standing still. My dad said it just doesn't have the torque range, so he wants to get a crate engine of the same size and put a supercharger on it (when diesels take a poo, its usually a way expensive fix).

@Everyone wanting to beta test: Being a beta tester doesn't mean you get the game before everyone else, if you find a problem, you need to have the knowledge to fix it. Thats why I never volunteer to beta test anything, I don't have any programming skills.

You guys realize how ridiculous this sounds right? This thread will fall down the pages, and no-one or a team of a few can not create the game you want.

HDC, do you even know how to program in any language!?

I know some C and C++. Plus I have a 2000 page book of C and C++ beside me.

I wasnt really gonna program. As I may be able to get Steve Becerra from www.mockworld.com to help (along with you guys.)

I beta test for mockworld.com, so I may be able to get steve to help.

I was just gonna Beta Test, and "lead" the program.

Also, harshboy Dont be so negative. Everythings worth trying. You never know, if you dont try.

Also Vskid is right. Beta testers need to be able to fix the damaged code.
Don't fret though. I will let probably all of you play the game early. As heck, you guys are critical to the success. Just try to remember, you HAVE to report a glitch if you find it.

You're wrong, things aren't worth trying if you know they wont be able to be successful....but it's your time, not mine. Feel free to waste your time

What he says, makes sence. Yet, everythings worth trying.

I may contact some freelance modelling and coders soon. I'll also drop an e-mail by Big N and Sony. Its all worth a try. If that try works, were making history here!

Attention Modelers: http://www.mockworld.com/models/index.cfm

Some nice cars and bikes. They come at a price, but I may be able to get some cheapers.

Remember people! We need a name! "Speed" is decent.

Hmm some name possibilities:

Speed
Speed Freaks
Adrenaline Racers
Adrenaline Crave
Adrenaline Cravers
Road Warriors
Faction+ (FactionPlus)
Revolutionist Racing
Revolution
Turbo!
Nitrious Oxide
N20
Legion of Speed
200 Miles Per Hour
200 MPH

:) Think of some, you guys.

Sounds like your starting the project the way I started the Blackbox. :P
(Like, coming up with a name before doing any technical stuff)

That's not nesicarily a bad plan. Remember, I got it to work. And i'm going to finish it this summer. OMFG! That's right, as soon as school get's out i'm going to work on it again. I promise! But it won't be exactly the same as before... IMO, it'll be better!

I don't want to hijack your thread, so if anybody wants to contact me about it, PM me! :)

P.S. Turbo! is a cool name. It's easy to say (there you go, Teraflop :P ), kind of says what the game is about, and for all of us it has a somwhat "retro ring" to it.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
