A Forum With No Moderator?

The current mini-mod placement is quite outdated. Like you guys pointed out, some moderators have moved on, and some could be more effective elsewhere. It worked out great when it was first implemented, but times change. We're debating between several solutions including reassignment of existing moderators and hiring more.

Please don't ask to be a moderator; it won't help your case. If we do add moderators, we will pick people based on what we observe. Begging, bribing, and general butt kissing won't change our opinion if you flame people on a regular basis.

Don't worry about it, we're working on the problem. The hardest part is getting the admins to apply changes so we can try them. (Hint hint, guys... )

HK-47, MM007, and VB are all pretty much gone, Luc, marshallh and G-force almost never come anymore. Where is everybody going?

And I've been here longer than both you and Sky and I'm not a mod. Certain people just have the experience. Time here does not make a good mod. It helps, but there's more to it.

You need to be special. You need to have laser vision, and able to cook roasts in second. You also need to make rainbows drop skittles.

The skittles power is the toughest to master, but it is soo rewarding.

I don't think things are too out of hand here, there are thousands of far worse forums for spam and junk than here, but there is always room for improvement.

bicostp is right, time changes things so we to will have to adapt, hopefully will find a superior system(or improve on the one we have) quickly, so hold out until then guys.

Thanks . I take it as a compliment that I'm not too much of a wimp to question anything and everything that leads to more authoritarian power. That's exactly their point. Just because you have a complete disregard for the rules gives you no right to preach impairment of the ability for our administration to keep our forums clean.

And thanks for the update, Sky, hopefully we can get this sorted out soon!
