they have built in protection from over charging, and the charger im using came with the batteries..lets just hope for the best

contrary to what a lot of people seem to think, the protection circuit is NOT there to help you charge your batteries carelessly. in most cases the cutoff limits of a protection circuit are set pretty far outside the accepted safe limits, in order that they dont interfere with the proper charging unit that you should be using.

now i hear you have one of those, so you should be good.

but everyone, hear this now: a protection circuit is like the airbag in your car. if it needs to activate (or de-activate I guess) things have already gone seriously wrong, and your batteries may have permanent damage. also, in some cases it cant be reset.
