Altoids case mod!

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Altoids case mod!

Post by ghosstt »

ok, i have an empty chocolate altoids case (they were good btw) and i want to do a simple mod to it. Make it into a speaker :D just plop a 9V battery into one, wire it to the speaker, put on it on a switch, and have an input for the speaker. is this plausible? and if i just take an input, wire it to the speaker, will it work? or does it need a board?

OKay, very cool idea, unfourtnatly taken (I have been wanting to do something with one since I seen HAM radios put them). I think you will need a simple step up circuit, something will blow with a 9V hooked up to a speaker and an electronic device.
