Wireless USB adaptor

Post by Jongamer »

Ok correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understand is ANY wireless USB adaptor can be used to connect to a wireless access point (I know this fullproof) But I was wondering, can I also use these USB adaptors (Not nintendo or Datel adaptors) to Connect a DS and a Wii to the Internet as a Access point?

This is the adaptor I am looking at getting as I am short on money and I don't need anything fancy, just something so I can Connect to the Internet with my Wii.

Here is that adaptor.

Please reply because I asked this same question a month ago and no one answered me.

Should work, but sometimes adapters don't like stuff like the DS for no apparent reason.

I don't think the Wii (nor probably the DS) will work in 'Ad-Hoc mode', which you need to connect to most USB wifi adapters.

I did manage to find the Nintendo Wifi adapter that you need for only $23 (refurbished) Here
