Either way, you can count me out.CronoTriggerfan wrote:Did you guys just check online? We did, and the cheapest flight from Detroit showed up as $450 round-trip, but my dad called a travel agent after that, was on the phone for about an hour and was able to get a direct flight from Detroit to Milwaukee for only $185 a person!Skyone wrote:Pfff, fail. Tickets are $700 round-trip per person, so it'd be $1400 for flights for me and my dad. If it were cheaper, he said we could've gone.Have fun guys! Hopefully you guys can come out to California if there's a convention here.

Thanks to those that PMed me. I'll get back to you shortly; I just got done with being in a car for about 16 hours straight
Makes a road trip to MGC a lot less desirable, but I'm sure I'll be back to my old driving-loving self in a couple days

I have a request, take lots of pictures, and those that have camcorders, please get some good video. I'd love to see some good photos and again if someone has a camcorder tape some of the presentations or events. I'd love to see what this year is like, in detail.

For those that want to go but have too many issues you'd have to work, perhaps this would help: G-force, gannon, and I are going in a group for this, and I have one more spot in my car.
I'll be picking up gannon and G-force from the Milwaukee bus station around 11:30AM June 8th, just after the bus from Chicago to Milwaukee (on megabus) comes in. I have a hotel room and stuff reserved already. All that you would need is tickets to get to the Milwaukee Amtrak station (which is also the megabus station) or Greyhound station, which is only a few blocks away. I suppose I could pick someone up from the airport if needed, since it's not too far away. Also, I'd require an equal share of the hotel room cost (which would amount to $45 when split among 4 people for a 2-night stay) and would request some money for gas. I have tickets already from Cleveland or Chicago if needed that I would be willing to give you if you joined the group, since I got them cheap. Also, those in Minnesota can meet me in Wisconsin and I can give a ride from there.
If you're interested, PM me. I'd prefer to do this with people that have been around for a while, since I'd prefer not to share a hotel room with a total stranger

I'd love to go but it's just too far.
I don't have the time or money to make it this year.
Maybe I'll go to Digital Overload 2008. (The RI convention center is only a half hour drive for me

I live on the far north side of Milwaukee, not real close to the event but closer than many.
If anyone needs a ride, assistance, wants to grill out, watch some stupid movies or needs access to the internet or a work space just let me know.
I can give you my cell# and/or email address.
Also, if anyone needs a place to crash I have a guest room that they are welcome to use. Just give me some heads-up. I guess I should have posted that sooner, its local for me so sometimes I forget that people are coming from farther away.

I'm assuming you are using an online translator. In spanish, the "yo" means "I" and is actually optional. The reason for that is that the 'o' in "hablo" means that you are speaking in the first person singular (that is, "I") so the yo is just redundant and only used to emphasize that you are talking about yourself.Nonsense Man wrote:¡Skyone... por favor nos da nuestra cosa en lÃnea de la conferencia virtual!
Also it should be "Yo no hablo ingles" so ya what happened to that??
