no real proof to this idea, urban myth, when I took the ACT (years ago) this story was going around, true I did score higher on the reading part and stuff but I don't think fingers had much to do with it, I had stayed up all night the night before the first time I was going to take it ,smoking some substances, and I scored a 28 composite, it only went up from there each time I took it and I finally stopped when I hit 32 composite, so it has more to do with how well you take tests than your fingers.

My ring finger is longer, by like a mm or 2, but I think I'm better at writing than math.

This is untrue for me. My index finger is longer than my ring finger, but I am a lot better at math than at reading. I get A's in math, but don't comprehend what I do in english, still getting B's though. I haven't taken the SAT's yet though.
