PAL(?) screen on NTSC console?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

I found this PSone screen from australia, and I'm not sure if it is pal or not because it didn't say... but i'm wondering, if it is, can i use it on an ntsc console? (Its a third party psone screen)

PAL psone LCDs are expensive in AU IIRC, so I'd recommend selling it to a needy user for a NTSC one :P

Is this a proper Sony screen? if so then it's a pal only if its a 3rd party one most that where sold to australia had a pal/ntsc switch

And I don't see what the big deal is of posting in here. This question has nothing to do with hacking a screen. I suppose it could go into tech questions and answers, but I posted in here because this is the forum that gets the most traffic, and I needed an answer within 20 minutes. :wink:
