xbox 360 controller mod

i know there's a section on spraypaint now but i have a quick question. If i sparaypainted an xbox 360 controller wold it still play well or would it feel all crappy? Thanks in advance, except for flamers, For them, hate in advance. :evil:

It depends on what spraypaint you use and how good of a job you do. I spraypainted an N64 controller and it was all sticky and wore off. I'm pretty sure it had to do with the paint and I only used one layer. I think clearcoat usually clears up those problems.

Follow this method. All other methods SUCK!

Sand it down really good
Thin coat of primer
Very lightly sand excess primer
paint one layer slowly and 10 inches away

i saw some pics of a plastikote black that looked pretty good. you can try the ones that actually dye the plastic as opposed to paint.

yup, when I painted my GC controller I used lots of thin layers and about 3 layers of clearcoat and it still plays like an ordinary controller
