Project Cancellation and Forum Change

Post by marshallh »

OK folks, I hoped it wouldn't come to this, but after getting a full-time job and planning for the future, I have pretty much no time left. You might have noticed I haven't been around much.

Grand Theft Portable (or whatever it would have been called) is not going to be finished. It didn't seem like any of the members were interested in it, and I can't find time for it.

The source code I posted here a week or so ago, go ahead and mess around with it, maybe turn it into something finished if you want. I don't care.

This forum will now be a general coding/programming discussion area. The admins will change the name when they find the time.

Yeah, good choice. 'Tis a shame though, seeing how far you made it. I hope someone picks it up and can add to your work.

It's a shame that it'll go unfinished. Well, maybe not if somebody wants to finish the PC source code. You actually had a pretty decent engine going there, good graphics.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

'tis a shame to see this project flushed down the drain. I hope someone will pick up the source and make something out of it. Are you leaving Marsh? If you are you will go down as like the smartest "Benhecker" I've seen on here.
Meh, I don't post much.

Funny how the topic got sparked all of the sudden...

Anyways, we're transforming this section into one of Programming (hence the already-changed name). With the next few days, it will be fully up and ready. :)

Also, I think I can speak for Marshall in saying that he's not leaving. Look at the date of this topic; May.

*tear* I remember this project from my old days of going on Benheck. Too bad this will probably never be finished.

I would check through the older pages of this forum, or search.
Why is it that every time I post in a thread, it dies?
