Does this mean that Smash Bros. and Mario Galaxy won't come out until after September?

It looks like that, well Nintendo normally release most of their GOOD first party software usually after september, so I have feeling they screwed up MP3:C

I have a feeling that it wont have online play either.

that would suck, the only metroid prime game I like is hunters, and thats because of online play

I liked the two Metroid Prime games for the Gamecube a lot. I hope this one is just as good as the other two. Never less I'm still buying it the day it comes out.

The original Metroid Prime was an absolute masterpiece. I'm sure Retro Studios wont dissapoint with the third installment. Im getting it for sure.

I really hope I am wrong, but I just can't get rid of the feeling that they did something to screw it up.

As long as this game is as good as the other Metroid prime games for Gamecube, this will still be a game I would want.

And about crappy 3rd party Wii games I thought I would say.

Stop buying them, you are only going to encourage the 3rd party devs to continue to make these horrible 3rd party games.

Well at least nothing's being pushed back to '08. There were rumors a while back that SSBB would be an '08 title, but Nintendo announced that SSBB, Mario Galaxy, and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS) will come out this year.

And to me, that means holiday season.

Yes. It was announced to have online from the get-go.

Yay, Brawl! *squeals like a little girl*

Back on topic though... I loved both primes on the 'cube, and I too, hope they don't screw this one up... because it's going to be SWEET with the Wiimote... especially if someone here can get that wiimote armcannon idea going.

In my opinion, they already screwed it up by making it for the wii. I hate to be a wii hater but thats pretty well what I am.

I think wii games should be able to use the GC controller if you are spoil-sport like me - if that was the case Id probably already have a wii in my home.

I dunno. I could go on a whole rant here but that would be thread hijacking.

I just had a great idea though (still hijacking) - what do you guys think about a gc controller wii mod? just take apart a wii remote and hack it into a GC controller. buttons to buttons, and the analog sticks onto the accelerometers. I think it could work. might need some kinda uC in there but whatever, its not too hard.

finally, to get back on topic, I loved the orignal MP games, and I can only hope that this one is even better, for one day I may actually play it. But I still havent beaten Echoes or Hunters so its not like Im putting this on my calendar.
