Sega 3 Cart Slot relocation help!!!!

I tried relocating the cart slot on a Sega Genesis 3 and I get nothing. Does anybody have any suggestions

You tested to make sure the console worked BEFORE you relocated the cart slot, right?

For checking, just go through all your solder joints and check for jumps, cold solder, etc. It's tedious, I know, but it's the only way you'll find your mistake, because that's probably what it is.

just one question... is it possible to have the sound working and not the picture going? I'm asking this because I don't have a screen yet.

Yes, just don't connect anything to the video
