Ok iv'e decided for good this time.

I will need these things:

N64
Screen
Batteries
Wires
Wood
Glue gun
Money

You just wait guys this will be a nice, wood portable.

i hate to be a party pooped but ive only seen 2 aesthetic wood portables, the rest ended up looking like poo. i would franken case it that way you save money on stuff

I don't know what wood I am going to use, I haven't started anything yet.
Besides the case will be the last thing I am doing, and I can always change my mind if I want to. But I am going to get a battery first, and then a screen.

This is just my opinion but I think you should use plastic. it is easier to work, you can fill in your mistakes easily, and beast of all You Don't Get Splinters while playing it . That is just my opinion.

yeah maybe if it was really crappy wood you could get splinters. even if it is crappy wood there's always sanding it and putting a nice finish on it or something.

Yes but it doesn't have the wood grain and is very obvious. Just put an epoxy finsh and it will be fine(as lo0ng as you make the wodd look good, sand it, carve it good, fill in gaps, etc).

well I'm just waiting on v3ndetta to get the screen, since we're both making this together. I'm not sure what the case will be yet, but we will wait and see.

Ok I have forced 2 people onto these forums V3ndetta and Stratmatt (not verified his email yet) I am gonna get the stuff on the 13th and Vendi is gonna get the stuff put together, while me and SM are gonna design and build the case. Remember guys this is not dead!
