screen sadness {update}

I am currently contracted out to a company that, amongst other things, makes LCD TVs. They were going to sell a ton of TVs to the employees at very low prices. While most of the TVs sell fairly well to the employees, the 7" ones do not, and so they were planning on selling them for ~$20-25 each. I was planning on buying several and then I was going to attempt to sell them to the lovely hackers on these forums for a very low price. Sadly, the sale was canceled for the foreseeable future.

keep us updated as to when the sale might be back on, sounds like a good cheap source of screens if they sell em again

It wouldn't have been 'attempted' it woulda been like Pac-man, except instead of dots, it would have been 7' monitors.

Okay, the sale went back on today, I picked up a few screens. I will see about testing their capability for use in a portable this weekend. If all goes well, I will be throwing a few up on the trading post.

can i put my word in for one right now, even if it dosen't work for a portable, I wouldn't mind having one for work (hello guard shack duty) and that sounds like a deal I can't pass up
