Hello,
After finding out I wouldn't need to rip apart innocent Sega's to build a portable, I was delighted. I just so happen to have a busted Sega 3 lying around (the pin connector will still work, right? ... right!?), so my hope is I can buy a Radica, and solder the 64 pin onto it. Now for the tricky part.
How do I solder a 64 pin connector to a Radica? I understand Jamin' Ben used to have a little info about this, but since the site has changed it's gone. Could someone please point me in the direction to go about doing it (a small tutorial w. pictures would be GREATLY appreciated)? I also read something about using a floppy disk's ribbon cable? More on that? Thank you!
