I'm almost done. Extremely Close. As in this is the last thing to do before closing it up and touching up the paint.
It's been happening for a while, but now with the screen fixed in position, it gets hard to fix.
The screen goes black, sometimes only half of it. The other half will play just fine.
The ribbon cable is glued firmly to the LCD.
To fix this, it simply involves adjusting the screen to the right position. But now that it's screwed in, I can't.
Anybody experienced a similar thing? I can't get any picture to show. But I'm 100% certain this is the problem.
And how do I fix it?
Additionally, I hot glued the corners of the screen to fix it firmly in place. I gently placed it down, working, and from the time of this post to 8 PM, the screen died on its own. What's wrong with my picture? Loose ribbon cable or other device seems to be the culprit. What do you think?
I also checked the green bars. Nada. Is the LCD cable broken? If so, I would be very very appreciative if I could buy a LCD module (even just the glass + cable) off of someone, as I'm 99.999% done. Like I said, there's only this problem and then I need to seal it up.
Final Screen Woes. Added new info, for those who saw it be4
