Dose having a DVI cable insted of a VGA cable(with a adapter for DVI video card on the end) make the quality of your monitor picture any better? I am on max resolution 1280X1024. Also my video card has DVI-D output and my monitor has a DVI-I input how would I get a cable that dose that?

VGA is fine. If it's working now and you don't see any ghosting don't worry about it. We'll only have to upgrade when everyone uses screens like Apple's 30 inch Cinema Display, which runs at 2560x1600.
I cranked my old Dell GX1's screen res up to 1600x1200 on a 17" CRT display a long time ago. It was legible but fuzzy, since the image started getting that "ghosting" effect at 1280x1024. I think this was the CRT itself, and not the analog connection, because I hooked that same PC to my LCD screen and set it at 1280x1024 with no problems.
This is what I mean by "ghosting effect" :

Basically, if it's not broken don't fix it.
@ Marshall: I'm using a KVM switch and there's no ghosting...

Keyboard / Video / Mouse switches. They let you hook up two (sometimes more) computers to the same keyboard, monitor, and mouse.
