Hows this for a deal?

ok, im getting one of these for free from a friend..

its a powerjoy, a crappy noac with no actual N games on it. question is, can i hack it to play snes or nes games? anyone ever hack one before?

Has a famicom slot, so by rewiring/using a family converter you can use NES games. This was the first NOAC I worked with, on mine the noac was built into the controller pcb, so it's larger than most other NOACs.

when you say rewiring, do you mean rewiring a nes slot onto it? or just changing some wires around? and about how much bigger will it be?

He means actually wiring up a cart slot to it.

He means desoldering the 60-pin Famicom cart slot currently on the unit and resoldering on a 72-pin NES cartridge slot. Use this to change them out. Good luck!

Well are you using it for a portable? If so then its always better to just rewire a new cart slot so that you dont have a giant thing sticking out of it either way its best to just rewire it so the carts will stay in best
