Anyone want to start a retro gaming site with me?

Post by dudex77 »

Well i kind of want to start a retro gaming site and it would be cool to do it with some of the benheck forum members. I figured we would just review older games and just do things similarly to racketboy or something, it would also be cool to compare new consoles and games to like old ones, like how Benjamin did that write up of the similarities of the DC and 360. Anyone interested?

That would be cool, but i don't know about just retro. I mean i like old games but i like N64 games the best so how many generations is this going to cover.
Searching! What's that?

yeah it wouldnt be limited completely to the older stuff but pretty much 2D stuff and I suppose 2.5D is fine. I would love to have like a modding section as well for whatever portables that are made or guides for how to do basic mods like making a console region free or giving controllers leds or whatever. So is anyone else interested? And does anyone have a suggestion for where it should be started(blogspot freewebs etc) or a domain name?

edit: yeah the n64 is my favorite console aswell so it would be probably be included as well

Cool now we need to figure out a place to get a free site and start from there. Also a name would be good and i dont think "retro gamer" is good enough.

Yeah more is better i think 5 would be cool so we could cover an article a day monday to friday. Im thinking something with a cracked out name like new age retro gamer or something like that that's kind of a game reference
