Project: VR Chair.
this is a project that i plan to do to an old arm chair.
add a big motor and weight as a vibration device.
add speackers and usb ports on the side so that i can easly add in parts.
there will be a built in joy stick and small key board.
so what do you think.

he keyboard and joystick are for computer games. i might use a flip down ps1 screen.
benol: i will try to use spell check ok.
so far i have the motor added and a speacker.
i have to add more weight to the motor and stop it from makeing too much noise.
i decided to have a clip on system for the key board and joystick.

if you are using a PC, then i don't think that installing a vibration motor into your chair is such a good idea. i can't really think of a good way to hook it up.
a better idea is to use something like this:

He could just have the PC next to the chair with the cables running to the chair. Or if it has to be in the chair you could make a dampening system to protect the hard drive from making shavings of itself.bgnome wrote:if you are using a PC, then i don't think that installing a vibration motor into your chair is such a good idea. i can't really think of a good way to hook it up.

I don't think that buttkicker thing would make much of a difference, theres still vibrations.
