I'm converting my Sega RF Modulator into a stereo composite cable. I've already desoldered the PCB from the RF shielding, & wired 3 RCA cables I got from an old PS2 AV cable to everything. I wired composite to composite (durr), Audio left to Audio mono, & audio right to +5V. I then covered up the mess of electric tape in the RF box.
Now, what I need to do is rewire the connector. I already cut off all the black insulation around it, & now I'm at that white stuff. Does anyone know how to remove THAT? (it looks like I might be able to melt it w/ a soldering iron, but I don't really want to do that unless it's a LAST resort)
Another question: If all fails, does anyone know where can find another connector?
