holy crap.

<rant> I HATE IT WHEN computer companies pushing their products add together the speed of all the cores and then say thats how fast it is.

its taking unfair advantage of peoples ignorance.

not only that, but it obfuscates useful data about the processor that people like me would like to know (actual speed, for example.)

futher down the page, look at the ridiculous statement they make:
4 * 3.00 GHz, with hyperthreading to boost performance to 4 * 3.81 GHz..
:WTF:
In terms of current performance and upgradability, this machine is future-proofed well beyond the next generation.
THATS NOT EVEN POSSIBLE

I know the information is not accurate but looking at the parts it still seems like a decent computer.

Yeah, but it's still a Dell. A cat turd's still a cat turd even when it's in an Almond Joy wrapper and comes two to a package.

if that isn't the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. Just because it has a "dell" sticker on it doesn't automatically label it a horrible computer. I betcha that PC will beat the crap out of what ever you may possibly have. I for one recommend Dell computers to people because they are cheap and have a nice warranty, something a home builder can't supply.

GOD I hate Dell computers, they are a pain in the ass when they are outdated.

I mean When my PSU blew, I HAVE to have another PSU from another Dell because Dell had to be douche bags and make it if you put in a normal PSU, you fry your whole damn computer.

Hell I've heard that people's freaking Dells caught on fire cause of this.

 Yeah, maybe ten years ago. They conform to ATX standards now.

Besides, not all Dells suck. They do own Alienware... And Dell PCs (Mostly the OptiPlex line) are the most prominent machines in corporate deployments. (Every computer at my college is a leased OptiPlex GX620, for example.) :P

They may not run your big fancy games that doesn't mean they're terrible computers. Please do a little research before you spout ignorant comments.

Besides that's not even a real Dell.
