DVD Menu Makers Anyone?

I want a program that has the ability to create menu's, add buttons, link buttons to videos, and quite easy to navigate. I used Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 which I thought was amazing because my DVD looked really professional, but I keep getting errors trying to get it burned. So do you guys know of any really good DVD menu makers? Post your knowledge!

well i use Nero 7 but for some reason the only thing that i find i can get it to do is create a scene selection menu. i couldn't figure out how to get it to create like a special features menu, or just a generic play button.

Sony DVD Archetect. It will let you make menus, special features, DVD-ROM content, chapters, etc, etc.

I suggest sticking with Encore if you're really happy with the menus. Instead of burning a DVD burn it as an ISO or a DVD Directory. Then use other burning software.

I use Easy CD/DVD Creator, which also shrinks the DVD to fit on a 4.7 Disc if it's too big

Thank you for this thread. Nero only makes ugly buttons with annoying 3D frames and they're always numbered. Finally!

I ended up getting Adobe Encore DVD to work finally. I had to start the project over, but this time it was much easier. Here is a preview:

It's still undergoing development, but every button is linked up and the menu's are working. I just have to add a couple things to the finished product and find some good music. The DVD works like a charm though

You guys like?

I don't like the layout of the scene selection page, but othan than that, great work! This looks very professional.

I feel the same way about the scene selection screen, I may change it or leave it as is. It's actually a motion menu..the icon's play 15 seconds of the scene, and restart over again.

Heh, I would do an HD-DVD of this, but I don't have an HD-DVD burner. They are too expensive

My camera does support HD, so once things get cheap I probably will end up doing that.

I have the HD Divx file of your movie anyway. I just watch it on my pc monitor.

Try watching widescreen HD movies on a 12" CRT monitor.

Just to get in on this.

I have always used DVD-Lab Pro. Theprice is right and it's easy as hell. It works sort of like Visual Studio for mastering discs..

I just use iDVD, a long with iMovie HD. Not the best programs, but I can't argue with Free (As long as you buy a Mac of course)

Thanks guys. I'll definitely look into those programs too, right now though I'm learning a lot about Encore and I'm not having any more burning problems. All I have left to do is add a soundboard, which is a "secret menu" that isn't too hard to find. Just to think I started working on this movie way back in late september of 06. Man, time flies
