term paper

Okay I really need help on my term paper.

My topic is on how computers and the interwebs have effected U.S. history.

I have tried the library and google, but everything is either the history of computers/internet or how to use them. Nothing on the effects. I hate to ask this but i am running out of time.

Could some one find me some good sources to use?

Wikipedia is not a source.

Wikipedia is indeed not a source, however, the reference links at the bottom of the Wikipedia article can be used as sources (pending you can use online sources).

Also, it is likely those sources on the history will likely at least touch on the societal impacts of the internet. If your library has old magazines, Popular Science has had articles on the impact of the internet in the not too distant past, IIRC.

Computers have affected US History because there is so much crap they don't teach in school, or school's spin, or perhaps the specific book's spin, that you can go out on the net and get an entirely different spin (or in rare circumstances, something actually unbiased).

It has happened all over the world where low and behold someone realizes that something they've tought in school for 200 years never really happened. A lot of that stuff now is thanks to the internet'n friends.
