Fanmade lightsaber duels!!!

I'm sure you have all seen these on the internet. Ryan Wieber is probably the best, look him up

. I made one today (not a duel) exept I used a stick which I shouldnt have, but it was easier (and it was my first try)Here ya go. I will make one with adobe after effects later wich will be 1000 times better. I hope you guys give this a shot is's dam fun but hard work.

Thankyou it is very beta, and i noticed that some parts of the lightsaber swings are off. That will all change with adobe aftereffects, but if anyone wants to know how to do a short easy video (it has to be short or it will stuff up) go Here

Cool. I used lightsaber effetcs last year in a movie for english class. The lightsabers had nothing to do with the story (Romeo and Juliet) but I figured it would look better than the swords

After Effects is DEFINITELY the program to use for these things. And yes, it is fun. (Lightning and other such nonsense is fun too.

Sorry to bump this, but I have a question and I cant find a friggin after effects demo.

I PMed the topic poster and asked what program he used, he said lsmaker. For me it brings up this error message when its done:

what can I do? WTF?

C'mon you should know my name by now, anyway I warned you that these problems would come up with this program, you have to make a short video. That is probably the problem. It happend to me twice, just make a new vid that's shorter and try again.

I tried that, one was 6 seconds long and one was only 2 seconds (just me holding the lightsaber.) I still get the same message!

hmmm just follow the tutorial and when you compress, try the windows one or the defult one.
