Sorry, the only two languages I know (Java and C++) both have consoles. The only other language I mentioned is VB, which I guess doesn't have a console. I guess GUI input is OK for VB then.
Does anyone want me to just post problems, then people post the code for the answers? There will be no judging, just a sort of peer review thing.

Alright since no one wants to judge, does anyone actually want to take a shot at the challenges? If I can get more than a few confirmations, I'll start a new post with a different challenge each week (all in the same thread). Everyone can PM me their answers, and I'll post them all at the end of the week.

Ok, that problem sounds easy enough....all of my answers would be in Java, and if need be I could make it use a GUI (as of right now, JFrames and stuff...)
Anyway, count me in for competing.

OK. Here's how its going to go down...
Every Monday I will post a new problem in this thread. You get 1 week to complete the problem, so by the next Sunday at 12:00 midnight Central time, all the solutions should be in my PM box. On Monday I will test the Java entries, and will post all entries that pass the test.
), on the grounds that I won't judge them. They will, however, be posted along with the passing java entries. Hopefully, the idea is that anyone else who understands that language will be able to review the code, and look for flaws. Or, if they are less experienced, review the code and ask the coder questions about it. It can be a learning oppurtunity for everyone. Good/bad idea?
