Thanks man! :)

There is probably many ways and even better ways of doing this, but this is how I did it.

1. I Used a 2mm thick acrylic that I shaped like a frame for the cartridge slot opening.
2. Then I filed down the corners of the acrylic in to a squareish shape.
3. Widened the cartridge slot so the acrylic would fit.
4. I used four 3mm leds that I filed down on every side as much as possible to replace the corners of the acrylic.
5. Drilled holes in the case for the leds so I could wire them up.

Awesome! Very cool looking mod there, my friend. It's nice to see something new and creative, especially in a forum that's been running dry in mods for the past couple of months. Oh, and excellent game choice, too.

thank you CTF, I'm glad you like it.
I'm also thinking of painting it white, but it's hard decide since the logos would be lost :(

That Wii-slot mod looks awesome, it makes me want to take my N64 apart, get some acrylic, and try this out.

Why not just paint the middle white? Or middle/bottom?

You should, I would like to see that :)

Yeah, that could work. But I just remebered that I have a old damaged case that's gone yellowish laying around. Maybe I'll just paint that one and see how it turns out. If it looks good I'll paint the "wii" one.
