Wireless Router Question

I bought a Buffalo Wireless G router and I can't get my DS to play games on it. Both my PSPs and my laptop can surf the web but they can't play games either. I am sure it is just a setting problem but I don't know anything about networks so I can't fix it myself.
My DSL modem has a self check program and every time I run it, it says it has encountered a technical problem and can't diagnose itself.

You sure your connection is fast enough?

Your DS not connecting could be that your router is set to G only mode, or that your router is setup to only allow port 80 through wireless.

As for your modem having an undefined problem, call your isp and see if they can figure out what's up.

Its set to G/B, my PSP wouldn't work with it if it wasn't. Its 3mps DSL and it is the exact same as my friends and his DS works with it, he has a Lynksys router though.
