xbox 360 original xbox controller

Post by autofcaeiountrol »

i'm sure this has been posted previously, but i'm new to the forums and was wondering if ya'll have made an orginal xbox controller compatible with the 360 console, because i prefer the original small xbox controllers (not the freak obese ones)

No I think he's saying that he wants to use the Xbox s controller and NOT the original "obese" Xbox controller on the Xbox360.

And I haven't heard of anybody doing that.

What does the size of the controller have to do with it working on the Xbox 360??

Yeah, I think autofcaeiountrol is asking if there is an adapter or something which allows you to connect an original Xbox S controller to the 360 (not place the S controller innards inside of a 360 shell). I too would be interested in this, I'm just too preoccupied with a different project right now to work on this one....

Well you could move the 360 innards to the s controller. Doesn't seem that hard. What are the differences between the two? (xept for the ring of light?)

Two shoulder buttons on each side (could be replaced with black and white).

No, you'd definitely have to do some rewiring.

Well you'd have to do some wiring. It would be similair to ben's ps360 controller.

It probably wouldn't be as hard though, as the Xbox and Xbox 360 controllers are very similar.

Ya I heard you can even use the original analog knobs (s controller) as long as you sand them down a bit.
