Good, free C++ code compilier and guide on C++

I'd use codeblocks, its free and is a good all around program. Comes with a lot of the header files you'll need to start learning C++. Its not a difficult language to learn, all you got to know is the basics and you can pretty much figure everything out from there. I do not know of any websites with tutorials though, I suggest just google'n C++ tutorials and one is bound to pop up!

GCC seems to be the industry De Facto. You'll have to be used to command-line interface though.
