360 upgrade for Halo 3

So I guess your going to need a new driver to play halo 3? Dang thats kind of cool but kind of sux.

I mean if the driver is cheap, sure I will get it but I don't know if microsoft will keep the price down or not!

I know nobody with an ACCUAL HD-TV, all I ever see is Projection TVs claiming they are 1080i but the picture is horrible.

All I say is who gives a crap about a Driver or whatever to upgrade Halo 3 to a higher FPS and resolution, Nobody I know that has a 360 has a HD set, and I ceratinly don't have one.

I have a 360 and well I don't have an HDTV, it's possible I might have one within a year. So the idea that no one is going to use this driver is kind of silly.

Only thing that bothers me is that I have to return my 360 to get the newer version with a HDMI output. I'm just glad I bought that warrenty... I know what kind of a benhecker?

That made me smile.

Halo 3 may be the one game that compels me to buy a 360 sooner than several years from now when I can get a used one for cheap. I've been waiting for the system to build up its library and drop in price and work out the kinks.

I tend to be a late adopter with new systems. I didn't own a PS2 until a few years after it came out (I played a lot with friends, though). I bought a GameCube just last semester for $40! And it's a good thing I waited on the DS until the DS lite came out and the price dropped. I like to sweep in and get all the discounts on systems that have been out for a while. I don't need all the latest and greatest, it just needs to be entertaining.

Halo 3 FTW!

W00T! (Says the guy whose primary system is STILL his N64, just in the process of getting a GC and possibly an XBox.)

yeah I saw one of those TVs at Circuitcity yesterday.

Beutiful picture, and it did'nt hurt my eyes.

Is it possible to carry 1080p through a SCART, RGB or Composite? I think 1080i is.

thats untrue, halo 3 will work on every tv from an old b&w to a plasma 1080p. and it will work on every 360 from core to elite

I do not even own a xbox360 but would not mind having one. But I want a Wii more that i want a xbox.
