I would go with the TG16 +CD or TurboDuo.

Gate of Thunder, Lords of Thunder, Beyond Shadowgate, and Splash Lake. Oh, and Bonk!

yeah i wanted a nomad really badly for awhile but i realised british people are dumb with theyre whole inflation thing so it was difficult to get it without unlimited amounts of cash. same with the turbo duo, though i really want one BAD. does anyone know of a site that sells turbografx16 stuff and ships to europe? btw keep suggestions coming

Yeah i know what ya mean with the Nomad. I saw one that was in perfect condition not even opened out of the box i wanted it soooo badly. Guess what? It was $400 damn dollars! At the time i only had $15 dollars in my pocket so yeah, i still say go for the Turbografx16 Bonk man Bonk.

a pocket color won't be as inexpensive as the TG16, but I like the games on it a bit better, and when you find them, they usually come with a good number of games. I recommend trying for the 'slimline' ngpc system. also remember that the 'afterburner' internal frontlight mod for the gba would kind of fit--that's if you can still find one.

of them I really recommend 'picture puzzle'--it's kind of a picross type game.
Faselei! should provide a nice turn based strategy fix
Neo Geo Cup '98 is surprisingly deep for a soccer game with stat building items and recruiting
Neo Turf Masters was everything 16-bit golf should be.
Evolution: Eternal Dungeons was a decent rpg
naturally there are a lot of good fighting games, SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium was my favorite.

I did not care much for the metal slug games on that system.

if you do go with a tg16 or turbo express, 'final lap twin' gets ignored more than it should. It's kind of like an adventure/rpg/racer. I couldn't put it down.

If you have not allready gotten you're neo geo pocket colour yet I reccomend going to a Game Station. The one near me has loads of 'em on sale for about £60 which is more than I'd pay but they have a load of games for them. eBay is you're best bet though if you want it cheap. However the game station ones are in mint condition.
Meh... So I don't post much?

60 pounds?! no thanks. i found one on ebay for like 20 with 2 games and its in good enough condition. also gamesation doesnt exist in spain, well not that i know of. ive realised i kinda want both actually but my priority is the ngpc since i love neo geo so much i feel i owe it to myslef to get a neo geo portable after all the coins ive poured into an mvs. hopefully i can find a turbo at the market on sunday

Why would you get a NGPC when you can get a TG16? If you were talking an actual Neo Geo AES, I'd say get the Neo Geo.

TG16 is win.

EDIT: Not that there's anything wrong with Neo Geo Pocket Color, I totally want one!
