FS/T: GP2x, looking for a PSP

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

I've been contemplating this for a while now, and for only one reason: I'm a PSOne whore. The GP2x just isn't doing it for me in that department; don't get me wrong, I think the GP2x outdoes the PSP in many ways, but for me, this one is just too big. The GP2x I'd sell is in quite good condition, firmware V3, and would come with a 4 gig SD card and a 2 gig SD card loaded up with movies, games, emu, etc. It'd also come with the original value pack box, rechargeable batteries, a case, and a battery charger for that stuff. Probably some other stuff, I'll look around. Anyways, I want either a good sum of money to buy a PSP, or a trade for an emu-ready PSP itself, as well as a memory stick of some sort. I'll upload some pics of my unit if you're interested.

Aha! So even the GP2X's biggest advocate is forced to switch to the PSP :P I'd love a GP2X, but unfortunately I have neither money nor a PSP. Shame, as your package seems pretty comprehensive.

MADE OF FAIL you are dude lol, with all that stuff i wouldnt sell for less than 250. no offence SS but thats just plain retarded, the gp2x is 180$ plus shipping by itsself then you add 6GB of storage plus all the software already loaded and ready to go. maybe something like 50$ plus a psp with the latest hacked fw and a decent sized card

lol, that might be aplicable if it was a psp (millions of the damn things) but im pretty sure there are maybe 20k gp2x worldwide, and your saying that a gp2x with a 4gb and 2gb card the original box plus accessories is worth 20 dollars less than the original retail price of just the gp2x?

Yeah, it had to be done. I HATE Sony with a passion (they messed up my favorite console line  ) but portable Chrono Cross is calling my name.

Well, after a day of TONS of responses, both here and at the digital press forums, I've had plenty of offers, but one stood out as being the best; that deal is being worked out, so it looks pretty final. However, should it fall through, I'll contact you if your offer was the next best one. Thanks!

I may be interested in your system. My PSP has light scratches as I carried it with me everywhere with little protection BUT that said it's just light scratches, nothing noticable or aggrevating while in use. I would be happy to provide as many good
pics as required prior to a deal. It is currently running the latest up-to-date Dark Alex hybrid firmware 3.30OE', works perfect, package would include:

*PSP *Rechargable Battery *Power Supply unit
*32 mb card (for basic saves and/or loading EZloader firmwares for future flashing as desired) *1 GB card which I can load with some PS1 titles ready to go, I ripped & converted myself! *USB PC cable (you can either communicate directly with PC/PSP or simply use a card reader either method has it's uses)
Though I can't offer what you do storage wise I could throw in a couple DVD's (To be exact 4 dvd of PS1 I ripped myself as well as 4 dvd of Retail PSP ISO's) to even out the deal!
This deal has been sealed, for the above package. Thanks for all who were interested!

alright CTFan I think you need to edit that post (particularily in the quote) ...that is still the grey area type thing, I don't want the FORUMs to get into trouble... Thank you

Hey, we have a whole STICKY on this stuff in F42, I'm sure mentioning some custom firmware and emulation is fine.
