List of Homebrew Apps and Emus for Max Media player?

Post by Jongamer »

Yeah I just scored one of these for $10 bucks at Super Wal-mart (Found it on a Clearance rack in a small corner in the Electronics section, just waiting for the Compact flash card to arrive before I can even test it.

But I was wondering what homebrew apps I can run on Max media player, I already have found a weather one where if you connect to Wi-fi you can find out the weather, and DS2key or somthing like that where you can use your DS as a PC controller through a wi-fi connection.

And I have already found out that with a Patcher, I can play NES 0rm$.
I have also seen SNES emulator but I always hear people not being able to get the Games in the 0rm$ folder to appear.

Yeah I saw moonshell, thats the First thing I'm gonna use once I get my CF card, Does it overwrite the MAX media Player data on the Slot 1 card, or does Max media player just load it?
Well luckly I did'nt pay the full price for this MMP.

Oh well I mostly wanted to watch movies and listen to music anyway.
(and I'm fine with having to convert the movies first)

HA!!! DS-lite kicks I-pods ass now.

K I don't know why I thought it overwrited Max media player, oh well. Mabye because you can update the Max media card with new firmware for MMP.

What Video types does it play? or do I still need to convert just like In max Media player?

Accually I did find a SNES emu, Full speed and Sound, but a quite glitchy with graphics (Zelda a Link to the past, walk under a bridge and it appears as your on top of the bridge) Save states and Save Sram work with Max media.

But it required a DLDI patch.

Also found that on Wikipedia that there is a Genesis/Megadrive emulator for Max media.
