There are some things I am supposed to try, but I can't even find my my.ini file for the SQL so I can't at the moment.

I'd rather this server just work than the pain of switching. That said, I don't think this site has gotten THAT much more popular lately. More, yes, but nothing astronomical.

Well, if you ARE going to go for a switch, try www.site5.com. I'm not sure how they are past the 5$ deal, like if you wanted your own dedicated servers, but they do say that they'd talk to you about special needs... So I always figured that'd be for if you were a site that got digged, etc a lot... sales@site5.com. I've had them for about a yearish... I dont' know really what else to say about them.

The only other one I can really vouch for is www.hostmonster.com. My friend has had them for quite a while, their hard drive space and bandwidth are right up there with site5...

Oh well, the 5$ deal with site5 is awesome, the bandwidth sounds like its right... 5tb a month... It is a lot.

Guys, the amount of bandwidth doesn't matter if the server is slow. The main issue with the current server is the speed, not the bandwidth.

Yea, then all he has to do is call site5 up (or whoever) and ask if he can get a dedicated server or one with fewer people being hosted on it. Not a big deal........

The one thing that hosts really get pissed off about is pointless hits on the site taking up cycles for no reason. Ben's site doesn't really have anything like that. Him getting his own server shouldn't be a big deal... I know bandwidth isn't everything either, but with podcasts..... uh...... yea. It is a big deal.
