Need some laptop help

Post by gamemasterAS »

I got a new laptop, its a Toshiba satellite 2755DVD and I put 2000 on it.

Every thing on this laptop that is the least bit graphical besides all the winodws stuff looks like hell, I think this is because its only set to 16 colors. I would change that but 16 is the only option. My question is how do I fix this, do I need a new driver ? And links to something your talking about would help because I have not found a driver yet.

Ugh. I'm sorry but how many times will this question be asked?

You need video drivers. Install XP or find them.

According to a couple websites, the 2755 has a S3 Inc. Savage/IX w/MV video system. (I have a Satellite, but it's a 4000 series so it's probably different.) You could try searching for that, you might get more hits.

best place to look might be the manufacturer's website, its the only place i can get drivers for the obscure parts my laptop is made out of.
