Has anyone ever seen one of these? It looks like a Yobo but maybe smaller!

Impossible to tell the size really, without opening it up, but nice find.

I'm gonna give that top loader thing a go because It is sooo cheap and there's only a couple minutes left before its gone forever

So I'll let you guys know what I find out.

Also It looks like it plays FC games not NES. can I use the adaptor for the superjoy to... you get the idea.

Try to find what the "Famulator" is sold as in the US/Europe, if it is. I got this one in Japan but it's smaller than the OP's eBay link and much smaller than the NeoFami / Yobo, but has much better audio quality. I compared the two side by side and the difference is night and day. It also runs with far less slowdown in intensive games like Kirby. Granted it still sounds like ass compared to a real NES/FC but it's better.

Now, that all said there are hundreds of different FC clones with much smaller PCBs than either of these. However the Famulator is solidly built and worth more of a look.

I just got the thing yestarday!

Just incase you can't get the link on ebay anymore this thing is called a

"XPG FC Game Console"

Here's the cool stuff

I opened it up and low and behold it's a NOAC similar to a Super joy III... but it's a little better

It's slightly wider due to the fact that it loads American/European NES Games. Also there's a spot were you can solder a Japanese cartridge connector!

I don't have a monitor yet but on the box it looks like it has built in games but I don't see a ROM chip or anything.

It has two sub-boards.

One with the 7805 Regulator and the Audio and video out plus a couple resistors and one transistor. (not sure if they're neccessary yet.)

On the other board it has the power, reset, player one and two US connectors (perfect for mounting wherever!) and a couple resistors which I think are just for the power and reset LEDs.

So if you get me it has one ribbon cable with 4 strands. (ground,Vid,Aud,5V)

And another ribbon cable with I don't remember how many wires but probably by guessing 9 for the controller and power and reset stuff.

All in all I'm really glad I bought this because it was only $12!

Just got Super Mario Bros. 2 for the XPG and it does play american NES games. I don't really know how to judge it but the sound sounds great right now! (Don't have screen to see a picture yet though...)
