I can't wait until I get my team up and rearing to go for fights. Does anyone else here competitively battle? I like to and can't wait to battle you guys.

I stopped playing (well buying) after Silver(woo!)/Gold. I can't even recall 20 pokemon anymore. But diamond/pearl look promising.

Personally, I've beaten (Caught Every Possible Pokemon, All lvl 100, etc...):
Red, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

I own:
Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Fire Red.

Ok, me and typamc95 just had a battle and traded. It's pretty cool battling against people over the internet, even cooler to trade. But i hate how you need to know a friend code and not just randomly battle people (Like MarioKart)

The chat works well even without the headset if you wear some headphones.

Curse you lucky people! I might get a DS for Metroid Hunters, Mario Kart, and maybe Pokemon. It just depends on if I get money. But I want to be in on the fun (not that my PSP isn't fun, I just don't like any commercial games for it).

well there is the battle tower. you don't need to know friend codes to wifi people there according to this here strategy guide.

at 300 pages, I haven't seen a bigger guide.

You don't really fight them though you just download 7 teams from online and battle the bots... Kinda fun I guess. I wish I could buy it today though, but no I have to wait till tommorow cause I'm mormon

I just bought it today. So far its pretty fun, even though i just got my starter pokemon.
