Ok I still havnt fixed my friend's Xbox, so I know that the only way to fix it is with a Mod-chip, well he only has $20.
Well His HDD is screwed in his Xbox, so with this modchip

could he place a normal PC HDD in the Xbox, and Load a Bios that supports Formatting the HDD to Xbox Standerd format.
And my friend hasnt played his Xbox or 360 in a couple weeks (His original xbox he hasnt played since like last year.)
Since he sent his 360 in to be Repaired/Replaced, he only has a PS2 with only God of war, and a Gamecube with a bunch of boring games, or a bunch of games that he has already beaten.
Would this be a good deal for what I want to do?
