Starting a website. Why not?

I think I'm going to make a website, to store all my projects. (Not literally, of course.)

I am familiar with Flash MX and Dreamweaver, and I prefer to use those.

But I can never get any page I ever make completely centered on every monitor. Even with the center function. I haven't made one for awhile, and I'll probably figure this out.

How would I have a site that has flash but not all flash? Previous sites have been made completely in flash.

Ideas? Layout, sections, anything, really.
